  • prettyoddly – for your instagram tag? there’d be a , in there but I think that would stop it working?

  • I just loved hearing this, I must go and look for Philippa’s feed now! I constantly found myself nodding and wanting to say something while you two were chatting. LOL.

I’m a visual thinker too but tend to get blocked so often because I have this terrible need to see “the big picture”, to make a move. Now I see It’s a horrible habit that I got while making a living as a Creative person, since often you have to first let it all in in order to let out something great; on Instagram world that translates to have ALL the pictures, to figure it a way to make them flow beautifully on my feed while telling the story I want to tell. Nearly impossible (not to mention unreasonable) and terrible tiring, I know.

I want to get to a place where I feel comfortable sharing fleeting moments but at the same time where I can post my “perfect” pictures, the ones I spend hours working on without feeling like the fleeting ones are LESS; without feeling like I haven’t given it a 110% because in my head the amount of time I invest on something equals the value/quality of it.

Hearing Philippa has inspire me to look for the more spontaneous part of me, to see the value on a photo as worth it despite the fact that may took me 5 seconds to make and 10 min to edit it.

Thank you for another fantastic podcast, Sara! Can’t wait for more πŸ™‚ x
