A belated update, because my MacBook is out of action again. Sigh!

I got my hair chopped last week at a salon I’d previously loved. This time my stylist spent my appt rushing between me and another customer sat in the back. After drying my hair she pronounced me ‘done’ – despite having completely forgotten to cut my fringe or do any of the ‘texturizing’ she’d explained would happen after the blow dry. I, of course, did as any self-respecting woman would do – smiled politely, paid, then cried in my car. { note to self: future blog post idea – how to be savvy & honest at the hair dressers?}

Important new discovery: avocado, pistachios and honey on sourdough. Need I say more?

Peony season! I had to leave my finally-flowering bush when we moved house last summer, and now have to get my fix via the florist. These beauties came from the Columbia Road flower market, where we spent a morning being photographed by the fabulous Polly from Little Kin Photography. Check out her Instagram for a sneak peak – a full reveal is coming very soon!

I was super flattered to be asked to follow the likes of Courtney Amado and Ali Dover in the 10 questions series over on Natalie’s blog, The Indigo Crew. I found her questions really interesting to consider and respond to. Head over to read my answers, if you like!

Experimenting with wearing a watch – totally unashamedly inspired by Triwa gifting me this rose gold beauty to match my engagement ring. I’ve never really bothered to wear one as I’m perpetually late, and my phone tell sme that much, but now I’m starting to see some advantages – especially at work!

We went for a walk over the hills today in the sunshine, & of course it proceeded to pour with rain. I had no coat & lagged behind like a petulant toddler, but this view of home made it all worthwhile.

Hope you’ve all been having a great month. Leave me a comment with links to your newest posts/updates so I can catch up on what I’ve missed please! x

Ah no, what a hair ‘mare! It looks lovely from what I can tell though! Love your engagement ring. I am also perpetually late and trying to wear watches again. Loved reading your 10 questions on the Indigo Crew too… I’m glad you’ve found your tribe. I wonder if I’ll find mine one day. Sending love. Nicki x

They are so big and so grown up now (apart from when they’re not, if you know what I mean). I was just admiring the lovely family photos from London – Orla is such a proper little girl now but then I see her with her two fingers in her mouth and she’s a baby again. <3 I'm feeling good! But big, slow, underprepared, and slightly panicking that the baby will arrive and I still won't have everything ready. But that's nothing new for me, so I guess I should just stop worrying and get on with it. 🙂 xx

A pony ride! Oh these big girls of ours! I can’t believe how quickly this second pregnancy of yours has gone – how are you feeling? Xxx

I love the updates via photos, and how gorgeous is your engagement ring?! My garden is bursting with flowers, I only have two more weeks left at work and Xanthe had her first proper pony ride this week (‘feels a bit wobbly Mummy’ was her verdict). It’s pretty good at the moment.

I’m so glad someone other than me cries when she has to walk in the rain. 😉

Oy–that hairdresser. I would have walked out. Not kidding.

Not much going on here. Winding down the last week of school: Dear God, let it go quickly, I beg you.
