It’s been an exciting few weeks!

On Wednesday I popped along to the Boden press day and gave a little interview to BBC Radio 4 about my instagram experience. (I KNOW!) It was on this morning and you can listen again here. There’s more to say about the whole lovely experience, but it’s still sinking in for now!

Some of my photographs for the Samsung project I’ve been working on have been chosen to be part of their always-on content on the big screen in Picadilly Circus. So exciting! You can see my Samsung submissions here. (NB I did not write about myself in third person; they did that *frown* )

LA boutique kids (& now adult!) brand Boy+Girl asked me some really great questions in advance of an instagram takeover I did for them last weekend, and you can see my answers here. Check out the Boy & Girl instagram account here.

Thanks for the tips Sara, I’ve just started up my new Instagram, and migrated a few pics from my old account… http://instagram.com/stories_with_soul – I’ve got a good feeling about my new start… looking forward to keeping in touch. Bryony

Hi Bryony! Your daughter must be a really similar age to Orla – do I follow you on instagram? Give me a nudge on there if not.
I had a previous online life before Orla and decided to start again in this incarnation after a bit of a break. There is something so nice about a fresh start, isn’t there?
I use wordpress for this site and bought a cheap template to get it to look pretty. It was all fairly easy. Looking forward to getting to know you more! S x

Hi Sara,
Congratulations on your Radio4 piece – I listened with interest while waking up slowly with my 20 month old daughter.
I’ve been trying to work out which way to go with my own online life – I’ve had a blog, I instagram, I used to fb (but somehow I’m not a fan). I’m considering scrapping it all and starting again…i I love your blog – do you mind sharing which site builder you use?
I’ll be checking in frequently now that I’ve found your feed – good luck with all your exciting adventures!

We are very similar so I can imagine exactly how you must have felt, but you did it, that is just so amazing. Your inner strength won the battle with your head, and you must always remember that, because now you’ve done something like that, and conquered it, imagine what else you’re capable of xx

Oh Emma, thanks for your lovely lovely words. The interview was the hugest hurdle for me – I was in panicky tears on the train ride to London, but determined to go through with it! I’ve missed out on far too many adventures because I let people tell me I couldn’t do it. Thank you again – I’m *trying* to remember to have fun, instead of spending my time obsessing over the uncertainty! Onwards & upwards! Xx

Well done Sara, it’s so well deserved. I hope you’re enjoying yourself and having fun. I can’t believe you did a radio interview, when I think about the post you wrote about anxiety, you’ve come so far, it’s astounding and wonderful, and you should be very proud of yourself xx
