A few weeks back Emily & Harrison visited as part of our stay project, and we made a video.
I say ‘we’, but really it was all Emily, of course. I just made the tea, & got on with my regular Sunday, to be honest, albeit with a liiittle more makeup than usual.

home and roam and me and orla
cape: Boden // Orla’s dress: Christina Rhode

This is the video I’ve made a thousand times in my mind, but never known how to begin. It is our sense of home so perfectly distilled that I feel oddly safer just for having it; saved to my phone, slipped in my handbag. Instantly accessible in moments of blue.

It’s hosted on Wirewax, my favourite new video tool & the little circles are shoppable links, should anyone be interested!

teapot & timer: JING

Thank you Emily for capturing our home so well.

Be sure to check out Emily & Harrison’s new blog, Home + Roam, sharing the adventures of renovating and adventuring on their brand new house boat!

Happy Saturday, friends! x

You can certainly see your expertise in the paintings you write. The arena hopes for even more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how they believe. All the time follow your heart.

Gorgeous video! And you’ve just tipped me over into buying a Jing tea infuser for Xmas – it’s all too pretty! And now I really must sort out some of my mugs – you’d be horrified 😉

Thank you Ola! All the credit for this movie goes to Emily though really – her camera work is just gorgeous! Definitely follow your dreams and start making your own videos in 2016 – you don’t need any special equipment, just your iPhone and iMovie is enough!
Thank you so much for your kind words and letting me know it helps you! It’s always so great to hear back from people who read what i write and find it helpful. Keep up the awesome work! xox

Aw thank you Esther! Emily did a great job of shooting around the less-than-gorgeous bits, of course 😉 x

Wow! I love it! 🙂 love that platform and your short movie. Your short movies are so emotional and inspirational, I like to watch it round and round. In 2016 I would like to make some short films on my blog, especially that I start some collaboration with big photo camera company. Otherwise I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you Sara for all your Instagram tips. I do all my best to make my Instagram account better and it works 🙂 Thank you thank you once more and waiting for more inspiration and good post from you, which give me kick full of energy to do something new 🙂 (sorry for my english, but it is not my native language ;))
